What this browser follows, at a glance: add or remove roads and regions, pause everything, send a test notification or turn them off completely. No account: the settings apply to this browser on this device. The notifications themselves are in Finnish.
Milloin lähetämme ilmoituksenWhen we send a notification
Tavallisesta kaistoja kaventavasta tietyöstä emme ilmoita koskaan.Only for events that really change your journey: serious accidents, traffic jams and incidents rated high or critical, and unexpected closures. Roadworks only trigger a notification when they close the whole road, and only for the road, region, city or area you follow, never for all of Finland. We never report ordinary roadworks with narrowed lanes.
We only report what has just started (at most six hours old), and each event only once. We send at most four notifications an hour per browser; if there are more, the most serious go first.
Mitä tallennammeWhat we store
The push address your browser creates for Liikenne Nyt, the roads, regions and cities you follow, whether you have paused, and the browser type. With “Near me”, also your latest location, only ever the latest and with no history. No name, no email address, no account. “Turn off completely” deletes all of it at once.
